3. Service Descriptions

Each service is described on the website with its own scope, price, delivery method, and delivery time.

The customer is responsible for reviewing the service description before purchase. By placing an order, you confirm that you understand what is included in the selected service.

Any work not specifically listed in the service description is not included unless agreed separately in writing.

4. Booking and Payment

Payments are processed securely at checkout using the payment methods shown on the website.

All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.

A booking or service purchase is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.

For monthly services or retainers, payment is taken in advance for the relevant billing period.

5. Delivery

Delivery is digital only and may include one or more of the following:

  • video consultation
  • phone consultation
  • email summary
  • PDF report
  • digital action plan
  • booking confirmation by email

Delivery timing is shown on each service page. Where a written follow-up is included, it will usually be sent by email within the stated timeframe after the consultation has taken place.

The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address and for checking inbox, junk, and spam folders for correspondence.

6. Client Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

  • provide accurate and complete information
  • respond in a timely manner where input is required
  • attend booked consultations on time
  • use the services for lawful business purposes only

We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete information, late responses, or failure to attend a booked session.

7. Consultation Conduct

Consultations are professional, scheduled sessions intended to provide strategic guidance and practical recommendations.

We reserve the right to end a consultation early or refuse future service if a customer behaves abusively, unlawfully, or in a disruptive manner.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation and refund terms depend on the service purchased and are set out in the website’s Refund Policy.

In general:

  • if a consultation has not yet taken place, cancellation may be possible in line with the stated cancellation rules
  • once a consultation has started, the service is normally treated as in progress
  • once written work has been completed or delivered, the service is normally non-refundable

For services purchased remotely, UK consumer law generally gives consumers a 14-day cancellation period for distance or off-premises contracts, and for services this right may end once the service has been fully performed after the consumer has requested it to begin and acknowledged that the right to cancel may be lost once performance is complete.

9. Monthly Advisory Retainer

Monthly advisory services are billed in advance and continue for the billing period purchased.

Unless otherwise stated on the service page, the retainer renews on a monthly basis until cancelled.

Cancellation requests for the next billing period must be made before the next renewal date.

No refund is normally available for a billing period that has already started, except where required by law or where the service was not delivered as described.

10. No Guarantee of Results

All services are advisory in nature.

We do not guarantee specific business outcomes, sales results, ranking positions, lead volume, or revenue performance.

Any recommendations are based on professional judgement, the information provided by the customer, and the circumstances known at the time of the consultation.

11. Intellectual Property

All website content, reports, written summaries, templates, frameworks, and other materials provided by ELIZABETH HORNE ASSOCIATES LTD remain the intellectual property of the company unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The customer may use delivered materials for their own business purposes only and may not resell, reproduce, or distribute them without permission.

12. Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential and use it only for service delivery, administration, communication, and lawful business record-keeping.

We may share information only where necessary with trusted service providers such as payment processors, email providers, website hosts, or professional tools used to deliver the service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ELIZABETH HORNE ASSOCIATES LTD shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or business interruption arising from the use of our services.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so. UK guidance makes clear that unfair terms cannot be enforced, and terms should be fair and transparent. Terms cannot remove responsibility for matters such as death or personal injury caused by negligence, and other unfair wording may also be unenforceable.
